The six 6) images, directly above, show an Arbutus (Madrone, Madrona) wood carving carved in 1967 (photos 1968).
The carving is ~ 18 inches tall, attached to a walnut base ~ 2 inches high.
The work was stolen from my desk at the University of Oregon sometime 1969 - 1970 (The local police have lost any record of the reported theft. The work is listed on the Art Theft website of the FBI
A Reward is being offered for its location and return to me (the owner) an/or my wife.
